Launching Our New Website

On the 25th April Brighton and Hove Common Ambition launched its new website. The Steering Group co-produced a presentation for the launch event. The excerpt below details why and how this website was co-produced.

Our website intentions:

Following our World Homeless Day social media campaign in November 2022, we were inspired to co-create a website together. We wanted an independent space to raise awareness about the project, share all our resources in one place and ensure our project legacy. 

It will help us to have conversations with partners and service providers in Brighton and Hove about what change is needed and how to do co-production effectively and safely. 

Our maps of services, care pathways, toolkits and the learnings we capture in our blogs highlight what improvements we think are needed, with a view to collaborate to drive change and co-produce solutions. 

This website will be a huge step forward in achieving our goals and lifting the voice of those with lived experience.

How we designed our website:

We co-designed the website over three months in our media & comms subgroup that meets every two weeks. 

We sent these designs to Sussex Community Internet Project, known as SCIP who created the site for us… thank you SCIP!

Through this work we have developed our co-designing, content creation and blog writing skills.
